This beginner yoga flow is for you if you have always wanted to try yoga but wasn’t sure where to start. Regular yoga practitioners can experience improved balance, strength and flexibility. It can be intimidating for those who haven’t tried it before.

This guided yoga class will help you understand the basics. This class is the first in Sweat With SELF’s Yoga for Beginners series. It will cover the basics of yoga. The class lasts 40 minutes and will teach you the most popular poses. Rita Murjani is chief of staff at mindful living brand Aduri and will guide you through the class, giving tips and tricks to help you modify each pose to suit your level. She will show you how to modify poses and tips on using props such as yoga blocks and blankets to make yoga modifications easier.

This beginner yoga class will teach you more than 10 yoga poses with variations and modifications. These poses include the tabletop, hero, downward dog and crescent lunge, as well as foundational poses like the child’s pose (pigeon pose), camel pose and seated forward fold. Murjani will lead you through a flow that takes you from one pose to another so you can create a seamless yoga routine at home.
